She completed a residency in general surgery at the Cabrini Medical Center in New York City and attended two years of residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in pain management at New York University Medical Center.
Dr. Steiner has been widely published and has lectured extensively, and was twice honored with the Physician’s Recognition Award Of the American Medical Association. She is a member of the American Pain Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, San Diego County Medical Society and the National Utilization, Choice Care.
